Kentucky's Consent to
Adoption Law

The consent may be signed 72 hours following the birth.

Pre-consents are not allowed in the state of Kentucky.

Revocation Time Frame in Kentucky

The consent may be revoked up to 20 days after signing. A birth mother also may withdraw her consent any time prior to the finalization of the adoption if it is proven to be in the best interest of the child.
